Express Soup at Midvally-Garden

I walked around MidVally-Garden LG floor and I found this small kiosk. Express Soup. Its just located in front of Ding Tai Fong.

Since it's so called "express", it only selling few items: soup, salad, bread, spaghetti, and drink. And of cause, the main selling items is the soup: broccoli soup, clam soup, mushroom soup, minestrone soup and pumpkin soup. You can pick soup in bowl or soup in wheat bread.

This is the superb mushroom soup @ RM 6.50 that served with a piece of garlic butter bread. My dear said this is the best mushroom soup that he ever had.

And for myself, i personally feel that clam soup @ RM 6.50 is the best! There is uncountable clam you can find in it!

With the soup itself I know it can't be lunch. Here can add on mushroom spaghetti @ RM 6.00 to fulfill your stomach need. If you love creamy and cheese, sure you will like this!

And for those prefer tomato based spaghetti, this will be your choice then.

After paying off the bill, I get one voucher: RM 4.50 for a bowl of soup for next visit!

ps: I don't dare to try broccoli soup anymore after i went to toilet for 10 times in the second day! =P

The Manhattan Fish Market Student Promotion @ RM10 nett!!!! As a final year student, I grab this chance to enjoy my lunch at MidValley.

There are total of 5 dishes that can be chosen. I picked the Seafood 101 + refillable Ice Lemon Tea. When the meal came, I was shocked by its damn small portion!!

Here you see the Seafood 101 that i took~ It isn't that big portion ok~~

And now you can see it when I put the fork at the middle. The diameter of the bowl is around third quarter of a fork which is around 15cm!!! And the deep fried fish was like 12cm length!!

While my friend ordered Cala Ala Olio and she complained that the olio is too spicy!!

OMG!! I just felt being cheated by this kind of promotion but what to do, you think a meal with a refillable drink which only cost you RM10 nett can come with normal portion?Wake up please!!

Sakae Sushi Red Fiesta Week @ One-Utama New Outlet

Sakae Sushi Red Fiesta Week Promotion!! Unlimited buy 1 Free 1 Red Plate is really the craziest promotion for sushi lover!! Without hesitation, 8 of us went to Sakae Sushi @ One-Utama to enjoy this~

One-Utama has recently reallocate to LG (previously at the G floor). I worried if we cannot find it untill we saw the damn big froggie in front of Sakae Sushi!

The decoration inside is so elegant and make people feel that they are not in the ordinary Sakae Sushi~

Sakae Sushi had changed their menu into new look, with the main menu and also beverage menu. I was amazed by the variety of choice found in beverage menu~ People that always go for green tea shall try something new!

Apple Calpis Soda @ RM 9.80 give the refreshment before we started our meal~ Also, I tried for Red Bean Calpis Smoothies @ RM 10.80~Its perfect!!

With the launching of Sakae Sushi menu, there are few new dishes I tried. Golden Ebi Roll @ RM 22.80 consists of 3 types of prawn: boiled prawn, shrimp sheet and tempura prawn!

My friend ordered Sakae Chawanmushi, which I thought it just a tasteless steamed egg but I'm WRONG!! The improved ingredients make this chawanmushi become very nice and I strongly recommend you guys to try this out~

Also, we had one big bowl of Kaisen Kimuchi Ramen. The soup had improved to be tastier than last time. Is it because of the seafood taste that submerged in?

Next on, I took this new blue plate @ RM7.99 from the kaiten~ Seafood Splash Maki~~ The appearance was attractive but the taste just so-so.

I get to take some photo of the dishes before they being sacrified..haha~ The Red Plate Trio Ebi @ RM 5.99 also a new dish found. However, the taste just not there~

This new Mini Ebi Tempura is delicious!!! I used to love Ebi Ten Sushi @ RM7.00 from Sushi King, but now, I can found a better Mini Ebi Tempura Sushi @ RM 3.99!!

And the last photo I took was the deep fried Salmon Skin @ RM 5.99!! I can't found it in the menu and I guess it is just a sudden ideal from Sakae chef~ From far it seems like deep fried seaweed but it has the salty fishy taste and its damn crunchy!!

I love Sakae Sushi when there is people pay the bill for us!! hahahaha~~

You can find Sakae Sushi at One-Utama, The Curve, Cheras Leisure Mall, Bangsar Village II, Sunway Pyramid, Eon Bukit Tinggi etc~ Btw, I saw they have outlet in The Mines too!!! It is true??? I did not notice during my last shopping there ><

The Snow: Ice-Room @ New Bangi Town

I went for gathering in Ice-Room at New Bangi Town~ Again, a friend of mine strongly recommend this restaurant for big gathering like us (25ppl =P)

I order my pretty appetizer --> salad @ RM 5.90 which is damn nice but there is not much different from the salad that we DIY in our home~

Whereby next i got my Mushroom Soup that served in tea pot~ the taste is just so-so~

Here come my main course --> Mushroom Spaghetti. This is the first time i eat spaghetti that soak in its MAGGI sauce!!! It's so terrible!!!

With disappointment, I order my dessert --> Durian Snow Ice @ RM 8.90. I guess the reason why this restaurant named Ice-Room. Just because the only thing that your stomach can accept is their dessert!! haha~

So, strongly recommend here, if you wanna go for DESSERT!!

You can find Ice-Room in the following:
Lot 10, Bangi New Town, Kota Damansara, Kajang, Port Dickson etc~~

Sushi Zanmai @ Sunway Pyramid

It had been a very long time when my friends asked for gathering. And without hesitation, we decided to go for SUSHI ZANMAI located in Sunway Pyramid. Ok, I admit here, I'm the one who suggested and I'm a damn Japanese food lover~

We went through Parkson in the Ground Floor to find this place and it is located in 1st floor, just above Kim Gary.

Here you go. All of us ordered the refillable cold green tea. I seldom drink cold tea but not for this time. I guess its because the surrounding is a bit warm due to the heat from the open kitchen or maybe just something wrong with the ventilation system.

The first dish served was the stamina roll @ RM 12.80 for 6 pieces!! The very thick cut of juicy unagi topped on sushi roll that wrapped with Japanese cucumber, tamago and seaweed. I guess the unagi is at least 1cm thick. Most of my friend will go for wasabi when eating sushi but I suggested them not to do so for Sushi Zanmai. The original taste is perfectly burst up your taste bud when you bite the whole piece in once.

Next come out is the soft shell crab okonomiyaki @ RM12.80 which I called it as Japanese pancake. This is the first time i ordered it and it taste so so for me. I'm soft shell crab lover but I will rather suggest other type of soft shell crab than this okonomiyaki~

So, with a little bit disappointed by the okonomiyaki, I ordered Spider Roll @ RM 12.80. Here you see the yummy smile hanging on my face again~ The crunchy soft shell crab with the aromatic sushi rice and mayonnaise just match my taste! However, my friend told me that the mayonnaise on top was a little bit burnt.

And to continue the love on soft shell crab, we had soft shell crab maki @ RM6.80. For sushi that does not come with the house specialty mayonnaise sauce, I think better you take it with wasabi~~ Well, this is another dish that I strongly recommend.

Next, out of all the donburi in the menu, I love the Ebiddon the most!!! For its taste and prawn, it is so worthy for only RM 8.80!! And I can tell you, a small bowl is perfectly enough for you~ I guess you just can't escape from ordering the lovely sushi roll~

I feel like something lack of after we finished all our ordered. It's dessert!!!! But sadly, my friend suggested to have dessert at My Honeymoon Dessert House~~ argh..I want my matcha parfait~~
